I was doing more research on how colitis could be more linked to the disorder of microbial bacteria and/or fungus, and I stumbled upon the SCD diet. The SCD(Specific Carbohydrate diet) was developed by Elaine Gottschall for her daughter that had colitis. It supposedly cured her of colitis. I have read many reviews on amazon and it seems that it actually may work. I am going to buy the book and try it out. Has anyone tried it yet?

The Specific Carbohydrate Diet has been the subject of much discussion here. If you do a search for it, I'm sure you'll find a lot of discussions.

Sorry I am kind of new here, and I hadn't seen anything about it recently.
