Hi there and i'm new to this site, in short its to tell you all about
what helps me and may help you.
I was chronicaly ill with ulcerative colitis and visited my specialist on a regular basis,as we all have too, my story is that i was heavily into to keeping fit and consuming alot of milk, yes the demon milk.My body somehow rejected the milk along with other foodstuffs.
I will skip along here as we all know how the disease affects us and how deppressing it can get.
My friend bought a "juicer" to make smoothies and stuff and along with it came a little booklet to tell you what fruits are benificial for the body,so here is the punchline.
Pineapple, yes this fruit contains a proteolactic enzyme (think thats how you spell it) that breaks down protein, it also, allegedly contains all the amino acids that you need for breaking down protein, this goes back to my training days when you would take protein and take supplements to help this process. Pineapple was also good for the diorrhea as it also contains alot of minerals that are lost by this process and helps to srem the flow as it were.
So in short, and as i'm not that good at explaining, try it after having a meal, a little piece of fresh, not tinned, pineapple and see how thinks go, but as with all lotions and potions, consult you doctor and dont stop taking any medicines!.
