Hi

Has anyone recently travelled abroad and needed to have vaccinations ?

My IBD nurse has told me that i cant have any live vaccinations and i wondered if there ARE any that are not , also what does anyone take for malaria

generally , has anyone travelled whilst having remicade treatment and or 6mp / aza therapy

it would be a huge relief if someone can tell me there ARE options

should i just stop taking 6mp until i go away (in 2months ) and still take the malaria tablets ?

im waiting to see my gp but just wanted to be aware of any issues

well i managed to get to the doctors and ...

apparently most of the vaccinations for hep a , hep b , tetanus , malaria are not live

and therefore safe for us on meds

so if anyone else is going away soon and also having aza , 6mp or remicade then now you know !
