I know it's early but you got to stick to them if you made them.
A late Feliz Ano Nuevo, Happy new Years, to everyone and I wish you all a prosporous and Healthy 2009.

My resolution is to gain at least 15 pounds. To do this I would have to eat very healthy to get over this current flare and to hit the weight room really hard the whole year.
Oh yeah I need to organize things in my house so I'll make it a resolution. I have been organizing little by little this year so I give my self by the end of the month to have my house in tip top shape. That means I would have to say good bye to my "defense mechanise" for not to inviting anyone to my house. haha. So I guess you can say i'm ready to invite company over. :)

These things are so hard to follow but are actually directly or indirectly beneficial to our mindsets and health. Good luck to all who try somthing.

Mine is a combination of both of the above. I would like to focus on my health and upt my 10-15lbs that I lost back on. Then back to the gym and hopefully heading towards a healthy 09.

I also have things on the house that I have to "take off of hold" and get back at. I bought 2 new recycle bins in the process ;) Have to help the earth at the same time. I'm going to be around long enough to see it's effects...and that's a promise to myself.

How funny you guys mention recycling/reusing. I didn't even think about that as a resolution. That is awesome. I started recycling paper and plastic bottles last year and I don't know anyone else that does. A bin in my house sounds like a good idea, thanks pushingforward. From other posts as well it sounds like we have a lot in common.
Beth, I like that idea too. I get small amounts of fruit and veggies quite often from a small grocery store near my house and I can use it there for sure.

Ya, it's nice to have other people to share stuff with. I have all of my friends too but don't really tell them too much (well maybe more than they want to hear), but it's not the same. To them, beer fixes all, and who can blame them. If I didn't have this predicament I am in, I would just do what makes me feel good too!!

It does sound like we have alot in common Got2Believe. If anything good has come from this, it's talking to some of you guys and taking my health into my own hands. Hopefully I do a good enough job and have some good years ahead.

I've already got the recycling covered, we have stacking bins for paper, cans, aluminum, glass and plastic in our garage, and we hit the recycling center once a week. My resolution is to paint the old bedroom dresser, put on new hardware and repurpose it for my foyer. (I like to stick to things that I know are attainable - or I suppose you could say I aim low.)

This is off topic, but I like your signature quote, pushingforward. I've found myself repeating it in my head during the past week or so when I start worrying over something or other.

Thanks Sara14...I have to repeat it to myself too. I do my best to stay pretty calm and easy going, or at least appear that way. I saw this quote and it about sums it up for me so I thought I'd share it !! It really is true. Worrying does nothing at all for anyone.

Well Got2believe - I am currently trying to lose 15 pounds as my resolution (though I really don't like that word!). Maybe I could send them to you? LOL
