it was cute! I viewed it last night and then got side-tracked watching vids on worms in the digestive tract, MRSA cysts getting lanced/squeezed...
perfect viewing pre-bedtime..lol!

Ah, the accessibility of the world via the internet...gotta love it!

Ahh! MRSA cysts being lanced does not sound like a fun time! Haha. I can't say anything, I have a weird sense of curiousity, I get sqeamish in that I might crinkle my nose and say "Eew" at certain things but I still sit there and watch it. That's the best part about working in an operating room, I can watch any surgery I want to if we're not busy... So far I've only peeked in on two, but I'm trying to work up the nerve to watch a limb amputation. I've seen and held (in a bag, of course) the limbs afterwards, but I have a strange desire to actually watch it happen. My family thinks I'm crazy, haha.

The only thing I don't like is things to do with finger/toenails being ripped off, and anything pertaining to the eyes. Just creeps me out.

Female, 23, Ulcerative colitis (pancolitis) since 1999; GERD; gastritis; osteopenia in femur head & lumbar spine from long term prednisone use...

Current Meds:
Lexapro 10mg, Azasan 100mg

Ah...forgot you worked in an operating room! Yeah, I know what you mean about some things that create the squeamish factor.

I remember once I was washing dishes and then watching a scoliosis surgery. The girl had the swivel eyelets attached to her vertebrae and then the rod put through and then "cranked". When I saw the cranking part of her spine go into some alignment..gulp...everything started to go white and I got really weak. Having my hands in hot water didn't help..lol!

I had to sit down and drink very cold water....yes, I watched the rest of the show while sitting.

Interesting stuff out there.
