I've tried one from my local pharmacy, it it seems helping a lot... :-) ) I have no gasses oe bloating feeling after eating. Who is taking enzymes, which one is good and what should I look for when I buy them?

Diagnosed with left-sided UC on Sept 08 (about 45-50 cm). Never has been in remission.
First has Colazal 5x2day, then switched to Lialda 2 per day (so unusual to take just 2 pills)
Canasa 1 sup. every nigh
Vitamins: Zinc, B complex, Fleexsead Oil capsules.
Digestive Enzymes (helps a lot)

I take Source Naturals Essential Enzymes.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999.
Maintenance dose sulfasalazine.
Probiotics, l-glutamine and fish oil caps. George's aloe vera juice. Oregano oil antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal. Long-term remission with only minor blips.

The only enzyme I take is Beano. It helps with the gas. I probably get as much gas as people without IBS/IBD when I take Beano and Lactaid. You should hear me when I don't take them! I could go on and on...

People don't know that I have so much gas. They give expressions like everyone has gas when I take my Beano and Lactaid supplements. Hmm...

Vitamins (a whole bunch of them)
Anti-inflammatory foods: turmeric, seaweed, garlic...
Avoid: anything with high-fructose corn syrup, foods high in fructose
