It sounds as if your rectum is still flaring. The best treatment for this is rectal meds - Rowasa, Cortenemas or Cortifoam.

Pamela, please edit your signature to ten lines or less (your divider line and blank lines count also.) Your curent signature is about 15 lines, so you can get it within the rules by simply deleting blank lines if you wish.

Thanks!

I still have issues with urgency and frequency which is why I know I'm still flaring...even though I have no blood and my stools are formed, when the urge hits, if I don't make it to the toilet it will be in my pants, I just cannot control/hold it and I don't have proctitis issues at the moment (infact I haven't had proctitis since I started with the probiotics) but maybe because I have issues with my anus due to the fact that I have perianal crohn's skin tags along with crohn's colitis....or it could be issues with my IBS I don't know, but I feel your frustration.

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)

angle, you stated you are not sleeping as well, is it due to increased stress? I always could feel a flare coming on when my life stresses increased as well.

I still have multiple BMs and some urgency in the morning, like I have to get up a couple hours early to empty my bowels. I don't have any blood and my stool is at least semi-formed. My GI says it's IBS.
