Hi,

I switched doctors today, my old GI retired. This doctor wants to take me off my Imuran. I'm ok with it because I've recently read that that pill can give you cancer, (lymphoma). That's the reason he took me off it. So, right now I'm only on my Humira. He thinks I will be fine with just that. I'm kinda excited to see the outcome of being off this pill.

There are risks and side effects with most medications....as well as extraintestinal disease just from having UC..all of which can increase cancer. Russian Roulette sometimes..sigh.

I hope being just on the Humira works well for you.
