Guerilla crap- The highly-mobile ultrastealthy BM a person with IBD must perform when immediate access to public restroom facilities are unavailable.  Techniques include the duck and cover, diversion, nature, darkness, raw speed.  Accessories include fast food napkins, kleenex, paper towels, newspaper, leaves, and the occasional sock sacrifice.

I was laughing while reading a post that was all too familiar, didn't want to hijack it, so started new topic.

I feel this is a unique skill learned by having IBD.  It was born of absolute necessity.  I called it the Guerilla Crap some time ago because it is so unconventional and many without IBD would be offended or disgusted at not being able to "make it".  Little do they know it has saved me from many embarrassing situations.  It is only used when all other options have been exhausted and not for evil (on someone's doorstep, car, etc.)

LOL... sacrificing a sock... never thought of that one. COurse I wear work boots, so my preferred method is to sacrifice a shirt sleeve. Started carrying a pocket knife so if and when that happens I can cut off a sleeve. LOL.. TO funny

I had to do a guerilla crap off a hiking trail and instead of picking some nice big maple leaves, I picked what looked like bigger, more innocent leaves... turns out they were either poison ivy or oak! I didn't learn this until 48 hours later (the incubation time for the toxins)... what fun! Funny to look back on it now but not at the time, lol.  Needless to say I now know exactly what those bugger leaves look like and will never forget.
