Hi Everyone!
Well, It's been almost 2 weeks since I started the Lialda and I'm feeling much better!!! I was nervous at first because my dr has me taking a larger dose (2 pills 2x a day) but I actually have NO side effects from it and for the last 2 days I have had the closest thing to normal poopies in a loooooong time!!!  I was bleeding constantly and mucus was my constant companion, but no more, the nausea is pretty much gone and I'm feeling as good as I was last year in Montana when I achieved a remission that lasted almost a year with no meds at all...
It's nice to only take it 2 times a day and eventually only 1 time a day... I never thought I'd prefer taking pills versus sticking a rowasa tube up my poopie hole every night, but the pills aren't bad except for the size.. (they're HUGE)
  So Far So Good!!!

I started out on Asacol when first dxed, and taking 9 pills a day wasn't very fun. I like only taking 2 Lialdas a day...really helps keep me from missing any doses. I was using Colicort enemas for a couple of weeks, and I've decided rectal meds aren't my thing. I'm glad the Lialda is helping you out so much and I hope it keeps having positive results!
