That still happens to me occasionally as well. I find that if I'm eating spicy or foods like porkchops, stuff like that that my digestive system has to work hard to digest, that's when it happens. Or if I'm tired or over extended myself two or three days in a row at work or too much walking around at home doing housework, etc. I find I have to rest more to get back to "normal" (whatever that it means when we have ulcerative colitis!)
Also, take some food with your medications not just the meds itself. I know it's hard to not do that but I find it helps me to take some food.
I'm going to try some things to try to bulk up the stool because at times too, for me, that it can be grainy (looks like sand, sandcolor or black also).
Diet plays a big part for me. Take it easy on yourself. Hope things work out for you.
