welcome pinkdrawfstar :-)
m too sailing in same boat, since we have decided to try for a baby this year- doctors have started discovering chronic diseases in my body one after another :-( First - thyroid, then UC !
But as far as i know, you will have no problems in having a baby due to UC, it's better to get it in remission and then try for baby.
since Nov'2008:Mucus & Blood in stools, Gas, Constipation sometimes - No D !
Visited GI first time in Jan'09 first week, followed by Sigmoidoscopy/biopsy next week, results show mild inflammation in lower part of colon-advised Canasa suppository.

Enemas aren't as bad as you might think. I was quite wary of them & had a bit of a bad experience at the start (every time I took them I'd throw up). But I've worked out the dosage & they do help.
I'd suggest giving them a try & if they don't work for you you can always stop taking them :)

Treating with:
-Prednisone (30mg & tapering)

I did fecal transplantation with my granddaughter's poo when she was a baby. It immediately put me in remission during my second flare when I was having trouble getting off of Prednisone.
