having UC, even those that didn;t cook before learn to now. I have always enjoy cooking, now its become a hobby because when flaring a resteraunt can be a long trip. Or they might not have have things on your diet. If you learn to cook it can become a hobby, plus you can invite friend over in a social siutation to dine in the comfort of your own home.
Shadam, yes I am one of the ones who enjoy a heineken. And yes I try, even when flaring to have fun and keep a god attitude. I have my bad days, dont get me wrong. But for the most part I am a postive person. Thanks for your wishes and same to you.

**down to 25 mg of pred 12/25/08 **down to 20mg of pred 1/7/09**down to 17.5 mg 1/22/09
MED CHANGE: 1/13/09-- 4 Lialda, 2 Pamine Forte, 1 Florajen3 probiotic, 2 Aloe Vera tabs, Rowesa every other night, 20 mg of Pred, Lomotil as needed, 2 gemfibrozil, 1 norvasc, 1 metoprotol, 1 allopurinol
