I order them over the internet from Swanson Health Products; I'm not aware of any stores that carry them, but others may be able to help with that. The recommended dosage is 1 capsule per day; I take 2 because it gives me better results.

If you Google "Primadophilus Reuteri" you'll find links to a number of sources selling them. Good luck!

Do you take them at the same time or 1 every twelve hours?

Hi Judy

Sorry for bothering you..Do you buy this?

Nature's Way
Primadophilus Bifidus (Adult)
NW056
90 Caps

If so do you take 2 a day...?
Can we take without food?
Do we need to refrigerate after opening them?
Please advise........

Thanks in advance............

I buy mine at iherb.com. I buy Primadophilus Reuteri, 90 caps (not the one you listed above). Yes, you need to refrigerate them and you should have them shipped to you with a cold pack in the box.

I buy mine locally (they keep them in the fridge) if your local health food store doesn't carry them you could ask them to special order them for you....I've been using them for the last 4 yrs with some success, I started with the powder form and then switched to the caps (I buy the 90 caps and in Canada I pay 28.00 for 90 which last me 90 days as I only take one/day) you should be able to take 2 with no issues. Just be sure to keep them in your fridge.

It's not Primadophilus Bifidus, it's Primadophilus Reuteri - different bacteria. They come in bottles of 90. I take 2 every morning with my morning meds, just before breakfast, but it you can take them either with or without food. They do require refrigeration for storage. I started out taking 1, but upped to 2 to help with some yeast issues I was having.

Hi Judy,

What can i expect when i start taking them?

anything specific that you can list out?

I'm planning to take 1 in the morning and 1 in the night.

Any problems if we do that?

Previuosly i'm taking morning 4 and evening 4 which contains 2 Billion Acidophillus for each tablet. So i total 16 Billion Acidphillus.

But i noticed that Primadophilus Reuteri contains 5 CFU..what is that size.how can we convert that into billions?

Please answer my queries..

Thanks Alll...........

I don't remember any specific sudden changes when I started taking it, but over time if made my stools more firm and helped with the yeast.

You can take them whenever you want, just not at the same time as any antibiotics.

I really don't know off the top of my head about the dosages; you can probably use Google to research that.

Hi Judy,

Did u noticed any weight losses while you are taking these probiotics?
Is there any theory that taking probiotics leads to weight loss?

Thanq for all your responses and guidance

I'm not aware of any connection of probiotics to weight gain or loss.

If they helped me lose weight, I'd probably be guzzling them by the bottleful!

For me the PR cut back some daily BM's...there is no correlation betweenweight loss and probiotics, they are simply friendly bacteria.

That never happend with me, but I only take one/day, even so, 2/day shouldn't cause that to happen either, it could just be coincidence as well, if it were me, I'd continue with one/day for at least a couple of months, of course it's totally up to you.

I never had that response either. I doubt it's related to the probiotics.
