I just want to find out how much the out-of-pocket expense is for Asacol assuming that it is not covered by insurance. Can it be obtained more cheaply in Canada? I have insurance at the moment but one never knows. confused

It depends how many you take a day and if you can use the generic. It is definitely a lot cheaper to get it in Canada than in the US. I spend about 200 a month on Asacol. I think since you take less pills per day, it would probably cost you between 100 and 150 a month for name brand, less for generic.

Diagnosed with proctitis in March 2007 - Treated with Canasa 2x Daily
