Since weather has added to my stress and therefore added to my symptom of UC this is somewhat stretching it but related.
I have a blog about my husband fighting lung cancer and his ct scan was postponed due to weather this week so I put some winter pictures I took on the blog.
By the way, his lung cancer has been in remission for 9 months - wish I could say that about my UC.
Hope you enjoy the pictures - especially those in the South!

I am sorry to hear about your husband but happy to hear he is doing so well. I live in NY too and all this snow is pretty crazy! I am in the NYC burbs and it's even bad here. Of course not nearly as bad as where you guys are. Great pix. Thanks for sharing your story. I hope you'r UC lets up soon. I think this cold weather makes it worse. When I lived in the South, my symptoms weren't nearly as horrible.

Thanks for sharing with us! The scenes are soooooooo beautiful, like those old Currier & Ives winter landscape prints. At the same time, I can understand & relate to your feelings that winter goes on forever, messing with your medical appointments, etc. I have relatives in your shoes in central Connecticut. (Wife is 83, hubby 88). Hope you get warmed up with some nice hot decaf, cocoa, or apple juice/cider! / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

I'm glad to hear your hubby is doin' good smilewinkgrin
Your pictures look much like Minnesota every other day! That's probably an exaggeration lol. This has been the snowiest COLDEST winter we've had in while. I'm sick of getting up for class and checking the temp and it saying -10! Blah! I think I'm ready for June!!

LOL Looks like Michigan too! This has been a record breaker for snowfall here in MI and I imagine other parts of the US as well.

I'm glad your hubby is in remission and I hope he continues to improve. Now let's work on you there ladyfriend! :)
