well, just wanted to report back on my outting last night. I went out with my brother just in case anything embarassing did happen. I will admit, I think I went overboard a little bit between drinking and eating, but all-in-all I did well. For the first time I didn't have the urgency to go to the bathroom all the time and that was a huge relief especially being in the city. I still scoped out where they were for that just-in-case moment, but for the most part I had a really good time. I hope that this lasts forever like this. I just find that most of my BM's happen late night early morning and then throughout the day and into the night it is ok. Thanks for the support!

That is great! I worry about the same stuff. It is hard to go out and enjoy yourself when you're wondering "What If" something happens. Last night was rough for me. I am at a friends house and I had the craps. Kind of hard to explain why you go to the bathroom 4 times in a row. Today I have been doing well so far but who knows, it could turn at any moment. I notice I usually have problems after a big meal. If I eat small snacks, I am in better shape. It's great that you are healing and taking care of yourself. Best of luck with continued success in treating your UC.

Thanks all!

yeah, I know what you mean about trying to explain to people when you go that many times in a row. Glad you are doing well yourself.

thank you, i did kinda go a little overboard and did pay for it a tad. Lesson learned. I went over my mother's house for breakfast and she yelled at me for overdoing it ;)
