Just a quick update...I noticed no blood for the past 7 or 8 days only with diarrhea or with some form in it.  Bathroom b/m breaks once or twice a day. I've been brushing my teeth with baking soda for the past two weeks and drinking at least a cup of lactose free milk per day along with my "regular" diet.  At least 70 to 80% low residue diet and some occasional no-no foods, can't resist.

The funny thing is the baking soda part, I wasn't trying anything special with it, we just ran out of toothpaste and we both keep forgetting to get more.  We both work and most times my hubby comes home late and I was just so tired to go anywhere after work.  We don't really like to go shopping unless we absolutely have to! Still taking asacol only at the usual every 6 hours, drinking lots of water, stress level is going down with work that I'm catching up on and sleep as well.  It really does help big time when bosses work are very understanding!

And not that I'm no way religious but no means whatsoever, but taking quiet time out to think and ask my guiding spirits to help me occasionally with this disease really helps.
So...enough of my boring story... just thought I'd let you guys know!  Knock on wood!

It just feels really weird to not have that urgent, painful, frequent, yucky bloody b/m, I forgot what it was like to do that! I just feel so lucky and hoping I'm not jinxing things for myself!
