Wow, you sure have been through the mill! I am glad to hear you are feeling much better. I was hospitalized last May for ten days and understand what a rough time you had. They put a PIC line in to feed me and also gave me my meds through it, drew blood too! At first I was very leary to let them put it in, had to sign a form of consent and all, but it was for the best. The only thing was, the IV prednisone raised my blood sugar and while in the hospital they had to give me insulin. That sure scared the BeJesus out of me. Good thing my sugar level returned to normal after the IV was taken out.
Hope you feel better with each passing day. I took hydrocodone for the pain. It worked great. Keep posting to let us all know how you are doing. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Having an understanding and compassionate spouse is wonderful, isn't it? My hubby of almost 40 years spent every day at the hospital with me, poor guy. He even emptied my bloody pots, since I couldn't make it to the bathroom in my room. Now that's love!
