just started 6MP yesterday and this morning I woke up with a mild headache, but it's getting worse. I checked the list of side effects and headache is listed. Has anyone else experienced headaches while on 6MP. Does Aspirin help?

UC patients should not take asprin or Ibuprofen! Please talk with your Dr about alternatives or stick with Tylenol.
My 10 yr old has been on 6-MP for 2 weeks and she is very, very tired. She also has other symptoms that we don't know if they are from the 6-MP or something else.

I was on 6-MP for 3 months and had horrible headaches while on it.   They did go away once I stopped taking it.  I did take Tylenol which helped some, but not all of the time.

I've had nothing but headaches while being on 6mp. I've been on it for little over 2 years now. In the beginning they were pretty bad but now they are still there but much more mild. I found that regular Tylonel doesn't help me so I have been taking Tylonel arthritis which has a higher dose. Definately stay away from aspirin if you are an easy bleeder. Every once in while my headaches get pretty bad - migraine quality and I have to resort to Excederin Migraine. This has aspirin and caffeine in it. It makes me bleed but it gets rid of my migraine. I would much rather bleed then feel like my head is falling off!
