It once happened that the gastro was about to stethoscope my abdomen when a very loud rumble from inside suddenly shocked both of us! My gastro laughed and said: "You have a set of intestines like I can't believe!" / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

How funny that you posted this topic.  Just last night I was laying in bed reading, and I actually looked down at my stomach and said out loud, "Are you kidding me???"

My favortie is when my guts sound like a creaky door, it doesn't happen a lot that I notice but when it does that's usually what mine sounds like, my hubby will say, "hey, who's sneaking in, or better yet, what's trying to sneak out???" Silly creaky door noises in my gut.

Well, my gut has been having conversations with everyone lately; last person was my boss....I was just standing in his office talking to him and out comes....waheoeoeoas;oeiaseli. Yep, embarrassing...he just smiled and chuckled. I told him my gut just said "hi." Giggle.

I call them gremlin grumbles. Or whale noises. Dinosaur roars. Other things. But my tummy TALKS a lot!

When I was in the hospital last year, a student nurse got to listen to my guts. She was in awe. Said it sounded like a party going on!

I know it's so weird. Sometimes I feel my insides are moving and readjusting because there are times when my stomach makes gurgle noises like when I'm hungry, but I'm not. It doesn't hurt it's just annoying, but luckily it's really only happened when I'm at home.

Wow, can you believe that my gut hardly makes a peep?! Every once in a while though, it will do the squeaky door thing and my husband will ask me if I'm hungry. Oh I did have a loud rumble roar not too long ago - it the dentist's chair of all places. I was having my teeth cleaned. Every time it made that noise I couldn't help but giggle - not wise when the hygienist had sharp instruments in my mouth. But, nope - my gut is relatively quiet.

I hate when you're in public and you reeeeeeally have to fart but you hold it in and it ends up retracting back up and it makes a really loud noise...happened last night lol
The only time my stomach makes a noise is when I've had too much dairy and I know that once it makes the sound about .00001 seconds after I'm about to paint the toilet :)

Ya Sam, mine as well just let the fart out eh, probably quieter then holding it and your loud tummy noises making up for it.
