have any of your doctors prescribed this med for the urgency?
I told my doc that the urgency was my biggest problem, and he gave me a prescription for this med.
I take it 3 times a day, and I can't tell you the change I have had!
I have been out shopping today for a couple hours, and have not had the urgency one time.
I had breakfast lunch and now dinner, and so running to the bathroom.
I'll wait until tomorrow before I declare this a great med, and see if I have yet another good day.
I was wondering if any others here have had success using this?

I am glad you found some success with this. I have, and I am sure I speak for others, a bad urgency to go even if there is nothing coming out. I have been somewhat lucky in that I am pretty much sewing the toilet to my backside in the morning, but during the afternoon it is ok with no urgency and no BM's. For me that is heaven considering I used to go like 20x a day. I am actually interested in this and will inquire with my doc ... you gotta love the side effects though:

Other potential side effects include changes in taste perception, difficulty swallowing, headache, nervousness, drowsiness, weakness, dizziness, impotence, flushing, difficulty falling asleep, nausea, vomiting, rash, bloating and difficulty breathing.

and ...

possible alien abduction ;)

I would be worried about the impotence. like I need more issues. Stay well and hope this works out for ya!

I should have mentioned he only wants me on this for 2 weeks. (at least that's what the directions say)

I took it when I was at my sickest and had not yet been diagnosed. It didn't help me then, but that may be because I was severely sick. I know some others on here have had luck with it. I think quincy is one who it has helped. Glad you found something that's giving you relief.

I have been on this for about three years... my directions say to take one or two capsules up to 4x daily as needed so i dont understand why he would only want you on it for 2 weeks. I can definitely tell a difference when I dont take it.
