I get culturelle at a supplement store.

Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily) and Rowasa nightly.

I've been taking Powerdolphilus by Country Life but I noticed they increased the price and I have to pay for shipping.  How much is the Culturelle and for how many capsules?

GNC only had them on the shelf, not refrigerated, so I passed.

I could get them at the naturopath's office, but it has been more convenient to get them at an organic foods grocery store (live, refrigerated). I'm trying Ultimate Flora, 50 billion of a variety of stuff. The store I go to is a local one, not one of the chain stores.
49 year old female attorney, diagnosed UC/pancolitis 1985, no surgery but much suffering.
Asacol/5ASA 6x400 mg maintenance for 20+ years; use prednisone & Rowasa for flares.
August 2008 sought care of naturopathic doctor. Food sensitivity test showed wheat/gluten, other intolerances; started diet without gluten, soy, dairy, tomato etc. Replete$$ probiotic powder, then Forte, now a stronger one (50 billion). Doing much better, but still having some bad days.

I use Align - got sample from doctor and continued as it helps. I found that these and others are behind the pharmacy counters at Rite Aid and Walmart - just ask. ElaineNY

You can get them at a health food store if you want to pay an extra buck or two. Culturelle is available at my supermarket usually and I get it there. I've read on this board that WalMart carries it, but I've never seen it at either of the two near me, nor have I seen it at Target. If I can't get it at Giant for $17, I can get it at Vitamin Shoppe for $18, but I try to avoid the health food store where it is $21.
