Just wondering if any of you have used MSM for UC or any other condition, and if so, has it helped?

I have been reading The Miracle of MSM: The Natural Solution for Pain (Dr. Stanley Jacob and others), and they say MSM can be useful for Crohn's and UC. According to the book, it is a natural substance with less toxicity than table salt, and it works as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory. If you take too much, it can give you diarrhea, though (as if any of us need that!).

Would love to hear of any experiences.
