I was asked about these studies on the ongoing Human Probiotic Infusion (HPI) thread so decided to post a new thread here about the oral, enterically-coated PC studies in Germany... sounds promising but unfortunately there seems no way to do this oneself, orally.   I believe on an old thread someone posted that they were doing home enemas using this, but like the Vit-E enema technique, I personally find that the PC is too thick and gooey to flow out of an enema.

Seems like this would be a good opportunity for a vitamin/supplement manufacturer. I know I would be willing to try it if it were available.

PC, a.k.a. Lecithin, is OTC, but the researchers have patented the application of enterically coating it for delivery to the colon (which requires even more enteric toughness than for delivery to the small intestine). I emailed a dozen or so compounding pharmacies to ask if they would do it for me and they either refused or didn't respond. I wish I had a rich uncle who was a supplement manufacturer, lol.
