Dear Friends

Is there anybody who can help me out with their views regarding repair of Horse Shoe Fistula, which runs 5 centimeters from my anal canal and communicates with the J Pouch. It is always leaking and causes an abscess almost every fortnight till it bursts again. Quite painful. All doctors out here have raised their hands - medicated thread, Remicade/Infleximab options have been ruled out to prevent further damage to Pouch. Had partial fistulocotomy and biopsy did not show malignancy or crohns or TB.
Incisional Hernia from surgery is big enough like an expecting lady. Same position, no doctor wants to take risk of repairing it.
Your views would really be appreciated and would be of great help to me.

I don't understand why Remicade has been ruled out? There are jpouchers in the US who have Crohn's and get Remicade to treat the Crohn's. I understand too that fistulas are notoriously difficult to treat successfully. I agree with Sherry, go to the ostomy thread to see if you can get some advice there.
