I guess this question is for cfromutah, or anyone with experience traveling while trying to maintain the spinach/sunflower seed diet. I have a big year of traveling, with my first trip being to Antigua. I have checked the Sandals menus that were available online, and I didn't see any spinach available. I know you cannot travel with seeds, or plants of any kind out of the country. What would you recommend to help maintain the diet without those two ingredients available? Is there a supplement that would suffice for the 7 days? I am still eating a can a day, since I am only a week or so into the plan. It is working as far as I can see, and I would like to keep it up.
Thank you.

I went to Russia and took 4 cans of spinach with me in my luggage and it wasn't a problem, the airlines didn't question me. I didn't know you couldn't travel with sunflower seeds, but I would imagine you can buy those in most countries. If you cant get sunflower seeds I guess you could buy a jar of sunflower seed butter and take that with you.
I don't take supplements so I don't have any to recommend.
I think its best to get nutrients from food whenever possible.
If all else fails I would just eat whatever high magnesium and high beta carotene foods you can get while your away. Most all nuts and seeds contain a lot of magnesium.
Carrots, sweet potatoes and winter squash are all high in beta carotene as are many vegtables.

Thank you cfromutah. I will be traveling to Antigua, Italy in June, Serbia to live in a tent for several weeks, and Hawaii all in the next few months. I would really like to maintain this diet if possible.

Customs have been very strict lately with vegetables, and especially seeds. You can't even enter Puerto Rico or Hawaii with seeds, fruits, or vegetables, and they are part of the US. Its very confusing.
