I have constant nausea from the Remicade and Methotrexate and Celexa I take, and some stomach conditions along with UC. I take the most wonderful drug on the market called Zofran. It melts on your tongue and tastes a little orangey - very nice flavour. The generic verstion is called Ondansetron. Get the 8mg dosage. Within minutes the nausea is gone. It is a drug that was designed for people taking chemotherapy.
If your doctor writes a script
for Zofran it is very, very expensive. Make sure the script
is for the generic version. Because my nausea comes on suddenly I have them stashed in the bathroom (for those BM's where you think you might throw up at the same time) and at work, in my purse... anywhere it might hit when least expected.
Presently on: 500 mg. Remicade every 4 weeks
15 mg. Methotrexate/injection weekly
12 Asacol daily
