Had my last C-Scope recently and was told by my Dr. that all
was "Perfect, You are in remission". An it appears I am. Had my blood work done and everything is in the normal ranges. However, I am having FATIGUE that is really getting to me.
So here is my question.
Can you be in "Remission" and still suffer from this degree of fatigue? Lately I have even had to go and take naps which is something I never have had to do before. I work Mon thru Fri
and on Sat I usually spend the day on the couch trying to regain my energy. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
Thanks for listening.

It could be that your meds are causing some fatigue. I also see that you have low thyroid. Did your blood work include checking your thyroid level? If it's a bit low, that could definitely be causing fatigue.
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily), Rowasa nightly, Culturelle probiotic, and Zoloft (25 mg).

I've been in remission since December and I'm still having fatigue issues. I have to take naps everyday, and still am exhausted sometimes. It's like I can never have enough sleep. My GI has said to just exercise, but that hasn't helped.
