I have just had my 4th infusion of Remicade.  It has done wonders with putting me in remission and am extremely grateful for that; however, I am feeling lethargic and a bit down in the dumps.  I've checked the side effects and don't see that listed.  Has anyone experienced this?

I'm on humira which is basically the same thing but you inject yourself. And my sis takes remicade for her crohns. You're probably feeling lethargic because of the disease. I get like that once in awhile. Really tiered and almost fluish feeling.

Are you on prednisone as well? I know the roids can cause depression and anxiety. As for the Remicade...hmm...I believe that everyone is different. UC itself can cause some crazy side effects in and of itself. You know...the week after my first two infusions I was extremely tired and just not myself. However, by my third and fourth I loved my infusion days because I felt revitalized and normal...but unfortunately for me it was extremely short lived and by the next day I was back super sickness.

I am so happy that you are seing great results!!! Hopefully your tiredness will subside, but perhaps you could try B-Complex twice a day and B12 dissolvable tabs throughout the day if you aren't already. Prior to my surgery I was doing that and taking the dissolvable tabs three times a day and sometimes taking 4 at a time. : ) I was exhausted 24/7 and desperate for anything to work!

Good luck!!!
