Actually I think that is why I had a dream about you! Because I was reading your posts earlier that day and you were talking about your husbands lung cancer and I remembered your blog. So I think that is how you got into my dream. But boy was that weird because you have been nothing but nice and kind to everyone.

Ps. I am going to try my hardest to dream you in remission and many pounds lighter! lol

One more thing to dream please - that this 6MP does not make me any sicker - getting side effects after four days and I don't need them!  ElaineNY

Side effects are horrible, but at least with the 6mp it doesn't last long. Hang in there! I'm crossing my fingers for you :)

Is the slightly light-headed/losing balance symptom of 6MP - only took 3 pills but yesterday I fell when I lost my balance.  Now I have to be careful anyway because of my knees but this was unusual and came on sudden.   Also, woke up at 5 a.m. nauseated/dizzy/sweating with chills (sounds like UC symptoms I used to have but are gone since prednisone).  Anyway, will these go?  I am taking the  6MP in the evening starting today to see if that helps.  YIKES!  I WAS feeling so wonderful!

Appointment this afternoon with knee surgeon - wish me luck!

Most definately sounds like the 6mp. I went thru the same thing though I didn't lose my balance. But I was dizzy on occasion. Definately take it at night to help counteract that. If it continues for longer then 2 weeks, bring this up to your GI.

And super good duper good luck at the ortho!

Yes, I did not take it this morning - going to now with dinner.  I stopped at my gastro doc (near the knee surgeon) and talked to the nurse.  She said continue to take it at night until I see doc March 16th.  Of course, I had planned on that unless I got worse side effects.  Felt ok today.  Seems my vision is being affected and I really can't afford that one since I have cornea transplants/disease and limited vision anyway.

Well, as far as the knee surgeon visit - I will start another thread with some questions - nothing very medical exactly - more like looking for experience and support.  He is very nice, very experienced and wants me to have the knees done NOW!
