Do you meet with Dr. Klein?  If so, did you like him or no?

I moved my appointment to the beginning of April. I started on LDN the week that I was supposed to see him so I didn't want to completely confuse things by telling him "Hi, nice to meet you...but I don't want to start any new meds because I want to give LDN a try." lol. I felt like the appt. wouldn't really benefit either of us since I want to see how LDN works for me. I'm sure he doesn't agree w/it since most GI's don't.

Truthfully I am not even sure what LDN is lol. I seen the post on here but didn't really read much of it. But hey, try what you want because who knows?? I may just work right?! But I agree that Dr. Klein may not think much about it. He's a great doc but his thinking is strictly medical. lol You know what is funny? I think that he is starting to change a bit of his old ideas. When I first started going to him, he told me that I can eat anything I want. I know now that isn't true. So just recently when I went to go see him, he said in a hesitant voice that maybe I should stop eating/drinking dairy because I am still having issues. He seemed a bit unsure about even bringing it up. Of course I had to tell him that I haven't had dairy in years. But I do believe he is coming around! I even mentioned that probiotics actually seem to settle my gut and at first he didn't say much about it but then when I mentioned it again, he seemed more interested.

I don't like that he is strictly medical and didn't give much thought to probiotics in the past. It's so frustrating trying to figure out what is going on with our bodies when our doctors tell us one thing but we find other research telling us other things. I hate not having a black and white answer. lol. I guess if there were a black and white answer, we'd have our cure! :)

I had to give LDN a try. None of the other meds. help me so I've been told either Humira/Remicade or surgery. I don't want either choice so I have to exhaust all options.
