This past week I was getting a cold, so I took some nyquill pills before bed, and when I woke up, I had diarreha both nights I took it. Last night I didn't take it, and this morning everything is fine. I was wondering if others have had this problem. I guess I have to stick to the liquid stuff then huh? smilewinkgrin

I don't exactly know what's in the nyquil, but if it's an artificial sweetener, that could be part of the diarrhea.

I would lean more towards it causing you slower stools since it has a cough suppressant and an antihistamine.

It could just be that today the effects of slowing the colon is hitting.

Hope your cold feels better soon
