I have been feeling okay lately but it's not what I would imagine would be considered remission. I still get up in the morning and have to get to the toilet and go 1-3x, sometimes it is more D than formed stool, no blood. I usually don't go the rest of the day but occasionally I will go again in the afternoon or evening. TMI, hah. I wish I could be back to normal. What if this is my "remission" and I will forever have urgency and D? I can't complain because I was on the toilet 15x a day a few months ago and this is a huge improvement for which I am extremely thankful but at the same time, I still want to be normal. What do I have to do to get over this hump?

I'm in the same boat as you, mornings are the worst the rest of the day ok and maybe a episode in the evening (depending upon what I ate during the day). I couldn't walk or run outside b/c that makes me poop. You know remission when your stools are somewhat dry, formed and thick, kinda lumpy bumpy, I had them back in the day. When I was on antibiotics I had a couple of good days and then it reverted back.

I would go easy on the gut, lay off glute/bread/wheat and see if this improves your condition more. Lay off sugar, dairy too.

I hope you continue to heal.

You're right. I am going to start avoiding carbs and sugar again. I would love to have a normal poop like you describe. tongue
