I was in a flare and getting worse so I took a vitamin E (800ug) and tumeric tablet as a suppository on a night along with my pentasa. I also use aloe vera as a lubricant if you know what I mean.
The following days I have gone from 7-8bm's a day to 2 yesterday and 1 today (so far at 3pm)...
Thought I would mention it - ps I was and still am taking tumeric and vit E orally 3x/day

Currently in no mans land between flare and remission

I'm glad you found something that helps you. :) May the good streak continue!

Btw, I am thinking of starting on Tumeric after my cscope next month (not as a suppository though, just oral). In the pamphlet they sent me, Tumeric has to be discontiued for a couple weeks before so I am just going to give it a go after the scope. I have heard some pretty good things about it so I want to give it a go.
