Wondering if any of you people know of anything natural (herbs) etc that would be helpful dealing with the urgency? I don't want to take imodium etc or prescribed meds I am doing very well on spinach sunflower diet, but still tons of urgency when I do have to go. Any help or info would be great.

Hi VerM

You may try Psyllium Husk (natural herb) which is very helpful in dealing with the urgency and BMs. You may take it either with plain water or fresh lime water. I have posted more information today on this. IN case you need any further information, please feel free to ask.

We are getting lots of products from different companies formulating Pysllium Husk. The oldest (more than 100 years old brand Isabgol - Telephone Brand) is the best one in India. Lots of new companies, including foreign companies have also started marketing this product because of its effectiveness. I am not sure if Metamucil capsule would give the same result as Psyllium Husk. You would get this in any of Indian grocerry stores throughout the world.
