Just as a few of you had deduced, I have now been diagnosed with Crohn's disease. The GI has put me on Lialda, 3.6 grams, and asked me to follow-up with him next week. Now, I at least know what I have and can move on. Thanks for all your support and I wish you all the very best in your health and future endeavors!

So your crohn's is affecting your colon (as mine is, referred to as crohn's colitis) the good news is that the same meds used to treat UC are also used to treat crohn's colitis, I hope the meds help you quickly into remission and be sure to report any changes to your GI because with CD it can affect any part of your GI tract...see you at the crohn's forum.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)
