I had such a HORRIBLE day yesterday, in the office feeling bloated and raw, have been flaring badly for about a week and upped my prednisone to 30. Then I was driving on the highway and my car engine just blew up, dead. Made it to the shoulder but in a dangerous spot where traffic merged all over the place. Of course, I had planned to make it to my appointment and use the restroom there...so I subjected myself to 90 minutes of horrible pain and anxiety waiting for help. I'm tough but I was shaken to the core, could not cope or even speak coherently to the Onstar people trying to help me.

(I am SO done with Cadillacs, I used to drive an XLR and this was a new STS and now they both shut down on me in motion. Death Traps skull , GM can eat S and die).

Anyway...I decided to check my Biorhythms and, lo and behold, my Emotional biorhythm was rock bottom yesterday (advised to just hide), and my Physical biorhythm was rock bottom in the past week. Well, there you go.

Anyone else noticed a correlation? You can check your biorhythms free at several sites online. I know it's probably Hoo-Haw, but it always seems to line up...
49 year old female attorney, diagnosed UC/pancolitis 1985, no surgery but much suffering. Asacol/5ASA 6x400 mg maintenance for 20+ years; use prednisone & Rowasa for flares.
August 2008 sought care of naturopathic doctor. Food sensitivity test showed wheat/gluten, other intolerances; eliminated all wheat/gluten from my diet. Probiotics (Ultimate Flora, 50 billion), trying Curamin.
Flaring, seasonal? or supplements too harsh? Back on prednisone, tried to taper but now back up to 20-30 after several really bad days. Waiting for insurance decison on Humira...soon...

I've never heard of the biorhythms thing. I'm sorry you had such a crappy day, though!
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily), Rowasa nightly, 40mg 30mg 20mg of Prednisone (quick taper), Culturelle probiotic, and Zoloft (25 mg).

Thanks, I was a mess! Better today, taking it easy...

Biorhythms track the cycles of good and bad days for emotional, physical and intellectual response.
Based on your birthday, like horoscopes. I'm always amazed at how accurate they are!

Yeah, I'm going back to Lexus as soon as I'm right side up on this Caddy.
My hubby drives a Toyota Camry & my friend drives our old Corolla with 250K miles on it with no problems.
I just got sucked into that XLR...so beautiful...and was stuck with another Caddy as the only way to unload it.
