Well, my new insurance started today, so I went and picked up my generic Colazal, $10 bucks. After I got back home just for the fun of it I called my insurance and asked what my cost would be if I went back to Asacol. They told me $50bucks. I am so happy, I can afford $50 a month. So, I will give the Colazal a few more weeks and if it don't work, I'm going back to Asacol, which worked great for me before I had to switch. I just had to tell someone about my news.

That's great! Does your insurance have a mail-order plan? Mine does, and I can get three months' worth of my prescription for the price of two co-pays.
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily), Rowasa nightly, 40mg 30mg 20mg of Prednisone (quick taper), Culturelle probiotic, and Zoloft (25 mg).
