Never used those. We started supplementing with Super Nutritions Simply One prenatal, and 2 of the carlson super dha daily 9 months before conception. I actually took her prenatals just cause they looked like they were packed full of good stuff, lol. I did fine along with her. No belly upsets. Just try and get a food based product and go on how your body responds to it. Congrats!!

Hmm, I've never heard of those. I would talk to your OB and see what they recommend. I had to take a Rx prenatal b/c of morning sickness. They gave me one that was gentle on the stomach - of course I can't remember the name of it! rolleyes Best of luck to you! I just had a baby 3 months ago. I was in remission while I was pg. and felt great UCwise.

i had the worst time with prenatals and my ob told me just to take extra folic acid and a flintstones vitamin. that that was just as good as anything.

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and couldn't tolerate the prenatals due to nausea and constipation. My Ob has me taking 2 flinstones a day.

I just had my baby 12 weeks ago and am still taking prenatals. My natureopath recommended Thorne Basic Prenatal. You have to buy them at a professionals office. The other one to try is Bluebonnet Early Promise you can get over the counter at your health food store. Both of these are good because they are Vcaps (powdered) so that for us, with our crazy bowels, they are more easily absorbed. Really any powdered prenatal is better than a tablet for absorbtion. Also, I would supplement with fish oil (Nortic Naturals or Carlsons are rigorously tested for heavy metals). There has been alot of research on brain development and the Omega 3s. This is especially important in your third tri when your babys brain growing quickly. The great thing about fish oil is that some research has shown a benefit for UC as well due to inflammation reduction. Anyhow, good luck with everything.
