I was given 5mg more versed than the time before and you know I was ticked that I couldn't remember stuff. Mind you, I recently had an accidental fall on the stairs and dislocated/relocated my shoulder....but I actually am thinking I'll pass on the stuff next time and just take the painkiller.
The day of my scopes, I'm usually out and about
for the day with my husband doing whatever after we go out for breakfast. Last year I was "bothered" emotionally, because I couldn't remember stuff correctly for a few days.
I like to watch the monitor and be a tad stoned, but once the stuff's worn off I'm pretty much mellow throughout the day. It's all worth the clean-out the day before. But I didn't like the experience two years ago, just from the extra versed.
I'll be discussing the options for next year....no versed methinks.
There are some people who do have problems after the stuff....I'm not thinking it's the best for the scopes. For getting zapped during a heart attack...OK....but who wants to remember that experience?
UC Dude...hope this passes by tomorrow.
