Does anyone have any experience with prebiotics? Any good, cheap ones out there?

prebiotics? or probiotics?

The best prebiotics to take are fibre.

The best probiotics are subjective...whatever agrees.

I take Natural Factors Protec. The other one I take on occasion is the Primadophilus Reuteri Pearls.

What ones have you tried?

I don't know what a prebiotic is but I do need to take some fiber. This morning I think I tore my backside with a firm stool. On the other hand, it's nice that it is firm for once.

for probiotics Ive been taking Primal Defense which seems to get negative reviews from a lot of people here and I take MegaFlora. I am always trying new things.

Diagnosed with proctitis in March 2007 - Treated with Canasa 2x Daily
December 08 - Began treating with Asacol 400mg (9 a day)
