I have seen a specialist and also been referred to the Government backed Royal London Homeopathy Hospital - I will post details on here after the consultation.

Diagnosis Oct 07: Mild Crohn's Colitis. Also suffer from bleeding Peptic Ulcers. By the grace of God currently in remission. Current Medication: 800mg Asacol Tablets x 2 a day. VSL#3.

If you like your medicine based on evidence and sound reasoning, then homeopathy is not for you. If you make your decisions based on star charts, then homeopathy might just be for you...

I had tried it. Frankly speaking, I did not find much respite from that, even though at some point of time, I did go into remission. May be I did not had the patience to go on with it beyond six months. Some people do vouch that it is effective. So it depends upon person to person, as all of us have separate metabolism. What may suit one person, may not suit the other.

I think a lot of people mix both drugs and homeopathy. Have to keep in mind if someone is doing really well with a treatment they may not even bother to visit this forum anymore.

I have tried tons of herbs and diet "cures".

Nothing has helped except drugs.

I think everyone has a different situation and what helps me will not necessarily help you so it's important that we all try a lot of different treatments.

Diagnosed with proctitis in March 2007 - Treated with Canasa 2x Daily
December 08 - Began treating with Asacol 400mg (9 a day)
