Has anyone tried this Advanced Inflammation Control?
I'm trying as of today, recommended by my NP who said my stool tests showed high inflammation. I waited to try after my course of antibiotics. From what I've read it sounds wonderful, I hope it helps. I will let you know.
Thank you,
Linda
Very mild left sided (could have fooled me with the "mild")  UC. Started LDN ON 1/25/09, stopped LDN on 5/1/09 didn't seem to help. Supplements: Probiotics, Cipro antibiotics 4/29 for 8 days seems to be helping, no bleeding right now.

Yea, my doctor called my condition fairly benign and you could have fooled me too! lol.. Good luck with the new supplement. I hope it helps you. Let us know how it works! I take colazal and really just hate those darn enemas, so I don't do them or fall asleep without doing them. I got diagnosed in January and really haven't been that stabile since. I have a few good weeks and then a few bad weeks, it is about 50/50, and my doc won't change my meds. So, I am interested in anything that might help (besides enemas.)
diagnosed 1/09 with colitis,54 yo, colazal, fish oil, synthroid, cymbalta

to me what sucks about this whole thing is I'm not spontaneous anymore, I don't want to commit into a relationship and no way is a guy spending the night b/c I immediatly take two steps to the bathroom and go. I know the only way through fear is to do it but when you like someone you worry about it. I just blew off a guy for tonight b/c I just don't feel that confident and worry free. It'll get better I'm sure. My gut feels really good right now, it's been over two hours since I took the capsules, it's a good sign I'm not running to the bathroom. I will keep you posted.

I do take Boswellia at higher doses, and drink green tea, sometimes Ginger. Keep in mind it can take up to a month or more to have an effect. I can't say for certain, but I think it helps me. I say it is worth a try.
