I was diagnosed with UC about 1 1/2 years ago and have had bad mornings since. I seem to always pull out of it after the "purging" is over. Lately, I've noticed an increase in frequency of having such bad cramps and nausea that I'm throwing up (3-4 times per week). I'm currently on Azathioprine and doing some OTC probiotics. Any ideas?

I only went on Azathioprine as of yesterday but the IBD nurse told me they can make you feel very nauseous so maybe that is part of the cause of your problem. Even before I went on Aza I feel nauseous most mornings before I get into the swing of the day. I'm not sure why, but its not nice is it...!
