How is this medicine - anything you would want to suggest me..any feedbacks? I will take this first time..how much time does it take to show results.

It has worked well for me thus far, albeit I have only been on it 3 months. Symptoms for me are a simple feeling of bloating and the occasional headaches. Other than that, it works well, in my opinion. I am one on pill per day, with left-sided colitis that was labeled as mild-moderate.

I had to stop taking it. It gave me the craps worse than what I had before I started it.

I've been on it for 2 yrs and love it. Only side effect I had was hair loss. I have super-thick hair and for months and months every time I took a shower there would be a big ol' mass of hair in the drain. I've heard people with thin hair really noticed it but for me it wasn't bad. It seems to have leveled off now. I take 4 a day.

oh, one other issue - the stuff is expensive! I pay $108/month, and that is with insurance. If I were to lose my job, I'd have to switch to Asacol or something that has a generic.

4 a day got me into remission. I noticed a big improvement after taking Lialda about 3-4 days. In March, GI wanted me to drop to 3 Lialda (matience dose) a day after being in remission 8 months. I was scared to at first b/c last flare was hard to get under control, so just did 3 a day for every other day or so then finally started taking 3 a day every day. Well, I still felt fine and was in remission, so I decided on my own I would cut my 6MP back to 50mg per day b/c I hate the possible side-effects anyway. I always thought Liadla did the most to put me into remission. Now I am having flare-like days and normal days. I am back on 4 Lialda a day and 75mg 6MP and started Canasa to try to head this off. It's been about three weeks and I still have no verdict. If I ever get quiet again we're not changing ANY dosages.
