All,

I'm planning to ask my GI to give a prescription for a FOAM.
Right now I'm doing suppositori'es twice daily and still not able to see a 100% results.
Some days are good without any blood or mucos..when that i happens i feel that i'm fine with Supp...but suddenly i will start seeing blood and mucos, which confuses me..
I'm getting confused whether my Supp's are working or not..?
I don't have any pain or urgency though...just small amount of noticable blood and mucos (atleast 3-4 days a week)
Do you guys see blood and mucos even after doing Supp's daily without failures..?
What do you suggest me do..?
Request my GI to give prescription for any kind of FOAM?

If i want to use FOAM , how hard it is to use when compared with Supp.. I don't have any problems upto now in adminstering Supp upto now.......

Please please advise............

You didnt say what kind of suppositories you are using but there is no mesalamine based foam that I know of but wish there was! You can ask for Cortifoam which works well but has a mild steroid.

Can you do enemas? I use a mesalamine enema (mesalamine is the active ingredient in Canasa).
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily), Rowasa nightly, Culturelle probiotic, and Zoloft (25 mg).
