If I recall correctly, some of youse guys have been prescribed Zoloft. I'm going through some family troubles and haven't been able to access my Zoloft for two days. Three weeks ago I forgot to take my pill.

I'm having the strangest symptoms and I can only suspect that since they popped up the times when I didn't take Zoloft, it must be the cause.

I get very foggy headed, I feel my head go "fuzzy", my vision goes slightly blurry at the same time. My balance becomes shakey and I feel rather woozie. I've heard that withdrawals from Zoloft can be a B*TCH and I've heard the term "brain zaps" from a lot of people. Is it possible this is what I'm experiencing, after only two days of not taking the Zoloft?!?? Or should I be concerned that it's something else?

Cold turkey withdrawal isn't recommended...and yes, more than one day off the med would be considered that.

There have been days where I've forgotten my Effexor, and the next day I'm definitely having a severe headache and really "off" feeling, over and above what I'd have with a "normal" headache or off feelings.

Are you able to get back on the med soon?

Unless I felt it were life and death, I wouldn't change up medications without consulting my doctor but circumstances are difficult. I cannot get them for two days :( I'm considering calling my primary care doctor tomorrow...

There are serious issues with withdrawl from SSRI's like zoloft. Google zoloft and "vertigo" and you will be reading for days. My wife went through hell trying to clear this stuff from her system. None of her Dr'.s got it until I researched and provided the data. Sorry you are feeling rotten.
