Well, to be honest, I am not sure what all they test for in the trial. I have a basic physical everytime I go (which levels out to be every 8 weeks, I think-right now it is every 4), and they do blood draws and urine samples everytime as well. I know they have told me before what all they test for, but for the life of me, I can't remember right now. They typically take about
4 viles of blood when I go. Oh, and I also keep a diary and have to answer questionnaires about
symptoms as well as mood and other things.
So far, our trial group has responded really well. I think there has been one person who had to drop out early, but I am not sure if it was because of the Humira or for another reason.
I have been really pleased with it overall so far. I wonder how long it will take for FDA approval to come for UC though-and they never even give estimates on that!
