On Saturday I began my LDN treatment for Ulcerative Colitis. At this point I am full of hope that I will keep my UC under control with LDN, a variety of complementary supplements, a good diet, rigorous exersize and plenty of rest.

Up until now I have been taking Azathioprine and the complementaries. This has been very successful. My only colitis symptoms are now joint ache in the night and when I first awake. However I do not wish to take a drug that makes my hair fall out, increases my cancer risk and makes me prone to infection. So I stopped taking it last week in readiness for LDN.

My NHS consultant does not agree with my decision and says that if it all goes wrong she will have to clear up the mess! lol! Azathioprine might not work so well next time she says.

I have been prescribed LDN privately by Bob Lawrence of Dietry Research, South wales.

Wish me luck!!
